Events adds a community calendar to your forum. Members can create events with a title, description, date range, location, cover image, and RSVP cap, then link any event to a forum post directly from the composer toolbar. The event card appears in the post footer with RSVP controls inline.
The calendar page shows upcoming events sorted by date, with a separate past events view. When an event is cancelled, all RSVPs receive an in-app and email notification. An Upcoming Events section is included in digest emails.
RSVP behaviour is configurable: maybe responses can be enabled, per-event caps can be set, and cover images can be required. Past event retention is configurable from 30 days up to forever. Permissions cover who can create events, RSVP, view attendees, edit others' events, cancel, and delete.
